School of Medicine Reservation Process
**PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING YOUR RESERVATION**
Thank you for your interest in reserving space in the School of Medicine. Your request may be subject to approval depending on the nature of your need. Due to the high volume of reservation requests, we typically will not approve anything more than 3 months out. You will receive a confirmation email once your request has been approved.

School of Medicine Reservation Guidelines:
• School of Medicine Education Cleaning Services (SSC): Make sure rooms are left clean. For cleaning emergencies during business hours, after hours and weekend events you may contact Candice Henson at chenson2@umc.edu or 601-559-4613.
• Catering: Communicate all details to external or internal catering and be prepared to meet the delivery. UMMC catering contact: Casey Duck at 601-984-2070 or Email catering at catering@umc.edu
• Table Placement: For lecture hall gathering, please use white acrylic covers outside of auditoriums. Submit a work order through UMC Intranet at https://intranet.umc.edu/ with the exact details or call Physical Facilities at 601-984-1400 if your event requires more tables.
• Signs: Bring your own signage for the event that can be placed on an easel stand. Please do not tape any information to the walls.
• DIS: Contact Ashley Garcia by placing a calendar invite to her email at agarcia2@umc.edu 48 hours in advance or calling 601-984-4492 for assistance.
• Computers: Bring a department laptop for meetings in the 3rd floor conference rooms.
• Security: For after hours and weekend events contact campus police at 601-815-3072 for emergencies.
• Parking: Plan for parking for your attendees if needed by contacting Renee Fortenberry at 601-984-1405 or emailing parking1@umc.edu. We do not validate parking.
